We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to specifically support account growth for our Digital, Creative & Marketing Practice.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for planning and executing targeted sales activity in pursuit of new business development and client retention to support short and long-term growth for Catena’s Digital, Creative & Marketing Practice. This role will have a primary focus on growth within current clients and recapturing previous clients.
This is a full-time remote role with expectations to work EST/CST hours with occasional travel required. This is a base plus commission role with a competitive commission structure including uncapped annual commission potential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary responsibility for solution selling in the marketing, creative and digital space to warm and cold accounts and targets
- Build customer relationships through targeted outreach and strategic conversations to understand organizational business objectives and goals
- Assess prospective clients’ current and potential needs, determine appropriate products and solutions
- Continuously prospect to grow assigned accounts which includes expanding existing relationships and solutions within those accounts. Manage a list of appropriate client targets and contacts through research, networking and referrals.
- Grow and maintain a sales pipeline that will yield a minimum of $3M in revenue annually
- Collaborate with the internal delivery and marketing teams on project proposal development and client presentations
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- You have a minimum of 4+ years of successful new business development / sales experience selling a service offering with specific experience in the digital, marketing & creative space
- You bring expert-level experience with strategic account management, sales process and solution selling
- You have proven experience prospecting, targeting, and growing account revenue year over year
- You encompass strong interpersonal, planning analytical skills and business acumen for effective decision making
- You have a proven ability to translate customer needs into solution requirements through creating powerful value propositions and negotiation skills
- You are organized, detailed oriented, and can successfully manage a pipeline of prospects
- You are naturally curious, excel in an environment of continuous learning and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- You have experience making professional connections within food and beverage manufacturing, distribution, restaurants, and/or grocery/retail.
