A Sr. Client Engagement Manager plans and executes sales activity to ensure that new business development and client retention occurs to support the long-term growth plans of each market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pursue companies that fit the Catena Solutions ideal client profile.
- Take the time to listen and understand our clients’ challenges to collaborate on the right solution for current & future business opportunities.
- Expand business relationships within each client via referrals to new departments while exceeding client expectations to increase the number of referrals.
- Build relationships with Delivery teams and communicate frequently on upcoming client needs.
- Share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations with your coworkers.
- Develop new client relationships through effective daily planning, prospecting, cold calling, and appointment setting.
- Meet weekly sales metrics that will lead to annual personal sales and gross profit objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required- ideally relating to Supply Chain, HR, or Finance.
- Minimum of 4+ years of successful Sales experience preferably selling a service offering.
- Experience prospecting, targeting, and account management.
- Use deductive reasoning, research skills, and decision-making skills to solve problems and enhance results.
- Ability to independently organize work to meet established objectives.
- Driven to become the best in the industry through association involvement, continuous learning, and networking.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Able to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and verbally, both in one-on-one and in-group presentation situations with all levels of staff.
- Experience in the Supply Chain and Logistics industry is a plus.
